Towards the end of 2023 I approached Daniel Clifford, Chef Patron of Midsummer House in Cambridge, with an idea to create excitement and intrigue for the walls of his restaurant. Chef Daniel took over the restaurant in 1998 where he won his first Michelin star back in 2002. In 2005, he added a second star, which he has retained for an astonishing 20 years. Situated in an idyllic location on the bank of the river Cam, his restaurant has a renowned reputation for offering the highest quality of classical and modern dishes that are continually evolving.

The work produced so far has been meticulously curated with classic style oil paintings but with a` modern twist, that harmonises with the ethos of Daniel and his teams everchanging menu. The paintings themselves, create a visual representation of the luxury, high quality ingredients included in particular dishes that you will be presented with when dining in such a unique and special environment.

Whether you are previous or prospective diners of this experience, we are offering exclusive, high quality Giclee prints of particular paintings you can find around the walls of Midsummer House. These prints are perfect gifts or mementos of that special occasion or meal you’ve had, to appreciate, enjoy and curate for yourselves within your own home.
